6gs Laughlin Tournament

Oct 27-28, 2025

Entry Fee: $160 for members and $180 for non-members

Make checks out to Larry Power. Mail the entry fee to him. His address is 6808 Palomino Dr., Pinetop, AZ 85935.

The Tournament’s first round will be on the Huukan Golf Course in Fort Mohave, AZ on October 27th. This round will
include the Blind Best Ball (BBB), Skins (2 flights), closest to the pin (2 flights), and Low Net (4 flights) competitions.
We have played Huukan in the past and most players liked the layout. However, it was usually not in good condition with
many bald spots. Since Huukan is now part of the Mojave Golf organization it is deemed to be in much better shape.
The course difficulty is similar to the El Rio course (we played on previous events) according to the USGA numbers.

On October 28th we will be playing at Mojave Golf Resort (AVI). Format will be a 4-player team scramble and include
a Closest to the Pin competition.

If you are inviting a guest, Rob Hand (the 6gs handicap manager) will need a handicap index from the member for your
guest. If you are a member of 5Gs and not 6Gs, we will use your 5Gs handicap and you are playing as a guest.

If you wish to play with specific partner(s) at the Huukan event let me know when you sign up and I will do my best to accommodate.

October 13th is the last day to sign up. Larry keeps your checks in his safe and doesn’t cash them until
the Friday before the Tournament, October 24th. Larry will email out the Tournament Pairings just prior to Oct 24 and
they will also be posted on the 6gs website.
